A VERY SPECIAL PLACE

Sparta Place was created in 1998 to celebrate the relationship between Moreland and its sister city of Sparta in Greece. The lane has grown into a little oasis and meeting place for many, featuring an amazing array of boutiques, eateries and galleries.

Location, location, location

You’ll find us in Brunswick, nestled in the little leafy square that joins the pedestrian-only walkways of Sparta Place and Tripovich Street which we share with the likes of an artisan cheese shop, an art gallery and a cute independent wine store.

About 5km north of Melbourne CBD, we’re just off Sydney Road, so we’re well connected by road, public transport and the Upfield Bike trail. We’re a quiet space in the hubub of Brunswick, an eclectic and culturally diverse neighbourhood, with a brilliant fusion of creative industries, (some may say) hipsters, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean eateries, offbeat shops, shisha lounges and cafes. It’s known as a destination for live music, culture and great food.

Oh, and we’re also close to lots of options for parking.
